NICVD opens state-of-the-art healthcare with upgraded wards, CCU

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) has achieved another milestone with the inauguration of its Newly Renovated Private Ward, Critical Care Unit, and Patients’ Attendants Sitting Area.

The inauguration was performed by Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Honorable Minister for Health and Population Welfare Department, Government of Sindh alongwith Prof. Tahir Saghir, Executive Director of NICVD at a ceremony held recently at NICVD.

On the occasion, Prof. Tahir Saghir provided an in-depth briefing to the Health Minister about NICVD’s remarkable progress, ongoing healthcare advancements, and future projects designed to enhance patient care and comfort.

Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho commended NICVD’s extraordinary services, emphasizing that these world-class healthcare facilities are provided completely free of cost, made possible through the unwavering support of the Government of Sindh. She acknowledged NICVD’s pivotal role in providing equitable access to advanced cardiovascular treatments for patients across the country.

The newly renovated facilities reflect NICVD’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art care, focusing on patient-centered approaches that ensure high-quality services for patients and their attendants.
